    Where is koh lipe located ?

    The island is located in South-West Thailand, in the Andaman Sea, near the Malaysian border. Koh Lipe is one of the 50 islands of Tarutao National Park, in Satun Province.

    Lipe island is open all year round. Some shops and restaurants close between June and September but most hotels are open during that time. Beach bars and restaurants too.

    Lipe is great all year round. During the Green Season (June – September), you can expect some warn and sunny days as well as some days with rain showers. Rain comes mainly at night. The island is more quiet between May and November. Dry season is between December and April, with hot sunny days, as this is the high season, the island is busier and all shops and restaurants are open.

    Hat Yai airport is the most convenient airport to reach Lipe. It is located 2 hours drive from Pak Bara Pier. Boats to Koh Lipe depart Pak Bara Pier up to 4 times per day.

    You can reach Lipe by boat from Pak Bara Pier, Phuket, Koh Lanta, or Langkawi

    From Bangkok, fly to Hat Yai airport. There is a 2 hours drive from Hat Yai airport to Pak Bara Pier. You can reach the pier by taxi or by van. From Pak Bara Pier, sail with Ploysiam Speedboat to Koh Lipe.

    Lipe island is approximately 3.5 km in length and 2.5km in width. Everything is located within walking distance.
